Posted by People tell me all the time they think I’m fearless. They are wrong, I’m kind of afraid of a lot of things. I’ve got fear of failing, fear of being not good enough, fear of being late, fear of heights and so many more. I cope with most of them (meditating and reiki helps!) but they are always still there as I blindly plow on through life. But today I’m proud to say I conquered one of my fears. I’ve always been a dog lover but apprehensive about german shepherds. I had a bad run in with one a decade ago and have steered clear when possible. Mind you with @wag I’ve been #wagwalking pitbulls, Great Danes, Rottweilers, you name it. Bigger, stronger dogs but I always passed on the German shepherds until now. I decided to give this puppy a chance and signed up to walk her and she was nothing but a delight! She was full of kisses, and just the sweetest thing. I now look at those big ears in a whole new light and am thrilled and hope to get a chance to play with this big baby and more in the future. #germanshepherd #faceyourfears #doitanyway #mustlovedogs

Today’s #tbt is one of my favorite weird spots I’ve seen on a road trip. Carhenge (a massive Stonehenge replica made out of cars) has come up in convo several times in the last few weeks. It’s a fascinating spot in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, and a blessed break from nothing but farmland for hours. It’s really cool, and I wish I had taken more pictures. My daughter really liked the other cars that weren’t part of the replica, because they were fun colors (instead of the rock gray color). And she got a kick out of the autograph car where people could sign their names and she happily left her down autograph back in 2017 when we visited. In New Orleans I met this magical woman @danimeighanstylesxuna. I saw this bright orange piece of calcite in a pendant on her instagram and patiently waited until I could afford it and had her send it to me! I am so glad I did. It not only looks like a slice of an orange, I just feel a bit of her positivity and energy every time I put it on. A little over a year ago I had a very clear dream where I had pink hair and was dressed super colorfully and a little bohemian with lots of jewelry. I remember waking up and thinking how happy I was in that dream and wondering why I wasn’t dressing that way? Fast forward to now where I found this gorgeous hand dyed dress @mexicaliblues while I was up in Maine.
